Cooperating research project

  • Services not mentioned on the list can be conducted through academic cooperation.

  • Academic cooperation can be conducted only after the approval of the Management Committee of Mr. Tsung Cho-Chang Memorial Mass Spectrometer Lab.

  • Details regarding publication of research result (such as the order of authors) follow the general norm governing academic cooperation and is to be decided among collaborating researchers. In principle, researchers and staff of the Lab should be listed as co-authors.

Reminders

  • Specimen status:
    Solid Powder: Condensed solid powder is suggested. Upon submitting the sample, please specify the total quantity of protein. Specimen should be of at least1 μg.

    Liquid Specimen: Please specify the component, density and volume of the solution and avoid saline or surfactant. Specimen should be of at least 3 pmol.

    C. Colloidal Substance: Colloidal specimen should be fixated, and should be placed in 1.5ml eppendorf with ddH2O. Coloration method should be noted. It is also suggested that a scanned picture of the colloidal substance be attached with the location to be picked and the molecular mass marked to facilitate the procedure.

  • Radioactive and infectious specimens are not accepted.

  • Specimen should be cleared of saline and surfactant.
