High School Student Medical Camp

Basic concept

To cultivate a better understanding about medical profession among junior and senior high school students, to introduce the different disciplines in medicine and to inspire interest in health care, the College of Medicine organizes an annual summer camp for high school students since 2012.

Mission and content

Medical Camp is composed of a good selection of the required or elective classes of all departments in the College of Medicine, including the Department of Nursing, Department of Public Health, Department of Clinical Psychology, Department of Occupational Therapy, Department of Respiratory Therapy, Department of Occupational Therapy, and the School of Medicine. Besides it also includes a class on anatomy and 2 lab courses to introduce basic ideas of pharmaceuticals and bio-chemistry. To motivate learning of the students, classes highlight interaction and lab experiments.
